Can I put this fish in with my other Ones? Plz answer!?

Ok, I have two tankS. A 40 gal and a 20 gal. The 40 gal, has some tetras, panda platties, cherry barbs, guppies and 1 male flaming dwarf gourami. My question is, can I put a female dwarf gourami or 2 in their without the male hurting them or being agressive!? I believe the store has female blue neon dwarf Gouramis, would they still mate? If they mate, I wouldn't want them to be agressive to all my other fish. It may or may not be Over stocked but I plan on getting a bigger tank hopefully! And in my 20 gal I have a few male guppies, a few platties, and 1 male blue neon dwarf gourami, same question- could I put 1-2 female dwarf Gouramis in there and not have the females and male fighting or being agressive? It may or may not b overstocked but if i get a bigger tank I plan on putting all the fish in my 40 gal in their and all the fish in my 20 gal in my 40 gal. So plz just answer the questions about the gouramis
