True that rice only works sometimes. But a slim chance is better than no chance at all, right? What could it hurt to try? Leave it in the rice for at least 48 hours, though. You have to make ABSOLUTELY sure that ALL the moisture is gone before putting the battery back in. It's the only chance you have to save this one so don't get impatient.
