One of my warts turned black? ?

So a few months ago i noticed this wart like growth on my skin (not gonna say where and not the gentials) i didnt have any others by it so i thought it was normal. And now (a few days ago) it turned black. It doesn hurt or itch (well sometimes i feel a tingy sensation, butlater i found out it was just my shirt rubbing against it. Its been there for 2 days now i asked both my dad and mom and they told me its normal and harmless. So i did some research and they say that a wart turns black when its about to fall off. So i was kinda relieved. Im going to the doctors soon anyways so ill ask about that. Im 12, male, and never had sex before.
