Which type of cory cat should i get?

I just bought a new 29 gallon tank. I still have to get the filter, heater, ect. but I went today to look at the type of fish I want to put in it. I hadn't planned on purchasing a tank yet, but the deal was too good to resist! Here's what I'm thinking: 2-3 dwarf gouramis, a school of zebra danios, a school of barbs, and a few cory cats. I have a few questions. What type of barbs do you recommend? I'm thinking cherry at the moment. Also, what kind of cory cat? I like the peppered and the panda. Is this a good setup overall?
